All websites must be hosted on a web server so people can see it on the internet. Web servers are computers connected to the internet that host websites. These computers serve web pages to viewers upon request through their web browser, like Internet Explorer or Foxfire. This service is referred to as web hosting.

Web Hosting companies rent space on their web servers to web designers. We rent large blocks of space for our client's websites from RackSpace, one of the largest & most reliable web server companies in the world.  more information

All of our pricing includes web hosting and we only design websites that are hosted on our web servers. It's a simple matter to move your domain name to our servers. more information

Once the website is finished, I want to make the updates and maintain the web pages myself.
Andyy's Answer
We don't expect you to do our job. Our "Small Business Web Design & Web Hosting" plan includes up to 12 hours a year of updates and maintenance. All you need to do is e-mail us the new text, photos, etc. and we will make the changes to your web pages for you, normally within 24 hours. However, if you would rather maintain the website yourself we will send you the login information so you can FTP the files to the web server.
